Adopted Hahn's Macaw
Hi macaw lovers! We just adopted a really sweet, 5 year old hahn's macaw. He came from what I consider an abusive situation -- in an 18 X 18 cage all day, all seed diet, and not enough attention -- all of which led to plucking. It's amazing he's so affectionate!
Just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed reading about all of your gorgeous birds. It made my decision to rehome him extremely easy. I have previous and current bird experience (presently owned by 2 parrotlets) but I'm sure I will have macaw questions. It's comforting to know you are all here!
