i noticed one glaring thing, the age of all the parrots, most would be the age that they would have been hand fed babies and some were still really young, under 5 yrs old.
it should not take any time to tame a bird that was once fond of humans.

No one person has all the right answers. You are better off getting various opinions from the forums and useing your own judgement on what is right for your bird.Just because a company is adept at saturation marketing tactics doesn't mean they have a quality product.

This is not necessarily true. Because so many horrible things we humans can think of to do to a parrot, some birds never get over it. I have been caring for some hardcore birds for years that still go off at the drop of a hat, despite having been cared for extremely well, permitted to be free from their cages all day long, they still can be very dangerous because of their memories of horror in their now distant past... They still react inappropriately to sudden sounds, simply because they've been terrorized so badly by the very ones who were supposed to love and shelter them with kindness and affection. Cockatoos in particular (my "specialty") are generally the most emotionally traumatized, while macaws often get neglected because of their assertive personalities.

Love does heal a multitude of hurts, but memories linger forever, you can never completely trust birds like these... you can innocently trigger an attack simply by doing something the birds former owner did... I've got one male GSC/LSC hybrid who still will attack me furiously when I answer the phone... sometimes. I STILL have NO CLUE how he triggers. Anyway, remember that there are ALWAYS exceptions to every "rule". Once a beloved baby is tormented beyond its ability to cope, and this does happen--- there is a point of no return.

I really couldn't tell you if it any good or not. I know I've bought books about all the breeds of animals I have. Some are helpful some are not. I agree with the one lady the forums can give you alot of information from people that have experience with your paticular birdie.
