It's a boy

Just as the title says, It's a boy. Well, Yazhi is a boy that is. The vet called today with the results. I was hoping he would be a boy and I got what I wanted. I had also hoped he would be a cinnamon even though there was a possibility he could be a pineapple. Having him has been a win win, well other than the times he makes me nuts.

My beautiful baby boy. Still on 2 feedings a day (1cc each), soon to be 1 feeding a day. Healthy and alert even though he is being medicated. I just love him.


Here is Yazhi kicking back on Goofball's, my toy poodle, cage. Ignore the piddle on the piddle pad...hehe Goofball is careful not to hurt Yazhi. I think it is more likely for Yazhi to hurt her than the other way around. The cat was on the far right but didn't show up on the picture.


Close up of Yazhi on my dog's cage. He really needs his own play gym. I at least ordered the vet wrap to cover pvc pipes with. I have a few pipes but need more connectors and something to cut it easier with. I have a design in mind already.


Yazhi's cage as of today. He has 2 food dishes, a water bowl at the bottom and a water bottle I hope he learns to use.

Well, he kinda went through stages when it came to his meds.

Saturday - Shake head a lot so some goes flying out. Yucky.
Sunday - Yummy. It was sweet potato baby food not meds right mommy? Oh crap... hm...
Monday - Hold meds in mouth as long as possible. I know it has yummy stuff disguising the yucky. Oh no, mommy tilted me.. swallowed meds.
Tuesday - No I don't want to eat it mommy. Oh no, not the towel. Okay, I will take it, but be quick so I can get formula.

sigh. wonder what it will be tomorrow.

Wendesday seems to be - Okay, I know mommy's trick with the towel. I will drink the baby food with medication so slowly like I am not hungry. Oh wait, here is some formula, time to swallow meds quickly for some. Ew, meds again. Oh wait, formula. Ewwww, meds again. Here comes some formula. **swallow** Oh crap, she knows how to make me take my meds faster again.

Sometimes you have to out smart the bird.
