Well, both have stress bars in the feathers, Jade more so however... her wings should be green, not black.

For some comparison, here's a green cheek... Notice the 'black' head, the green cheeks, and the scaling on the neck/breast area of the bird.

Maroon bellied conures normally have a lighter cap, being grey or even green. Normally the major difference is also that maroons don't have the scaly breast like the green cheeks do, or it's yellow... at least from what I've gathered... on top of that maroon bellieds normally have more maroon on their stomachs.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if many maroon bellieds were confused as greencheeks, therefore there would be many hybrids 'runnin' around. This sight though has a good photo of a green cheek and several maroon bellies... maybe you'll be able to see a difference...

In short though, until Jade has molted out all of her feathers and grown in new, healthy ones (as Shadow is currently doing!), you wont really know just how she'll really look. I'm sure that Shadow probably doesn't look the same when he first came home!

You definatly dont have a Maroon Bellied there :)
Looks like a Green Cheek, although the black on the head seems to be lighterim guessing there might be 1/4 or 1/.8 MB or some other type of Pyrrhura in there. But most likely youve got a GC there :) But other then the black on the head being a bit light which is probably because shes young. GC GC GC.

Tis possible Jade is a hybrid, but she doesn't look right for a greencheek... not quite right either for a maroon bellied, but I think it would help greatly once she was able to molt out all of her baby feathers into adult plumage.

i know that in the pic her head looks a light colour but she's actually really dark there so i think that you may be right about her being a GC lol thanks for the information
