My family's first bird was a Maroon Bellied (almost identical to a GCC). She was one bossy lady. Sadly, she died egg-bound... this was before the Internet, and we just didn't know anything that would have prevented that. (In hindsight, she was on a terrible diet, etc, etc.)

Anyway... I'm thinking about getting a second bird to keep Stewie company, and a Green Cheek is probably my first choice. Just not sure I'm ready quite yet.

Whatever bird I end up getting, if I do, I hope s/he is adorable like Rigel! ;)
