I would like to see the cages your small conures live in.
I am not interested in a flight cage, because I already have one for the budgies and our dusky. I am thinking about a new cage for our green cheek. For some reason I think the one he has right now is smallish plus I do not like the dome top. Here is a pic (from Internet) of the cage our green cheek is in now. ![]() Thanks for your help.

Oh yes... please get them a larger cage than that... Wow... those look like the size of cage the pet stores will try to talk you into just because they don't have anything bigger or they realize how over priced everything they sell is and offer you this "affordable" cage alternative (the cage you show pictured goes for about $20 + 10.00 s/h on eBay!) and the pet store cons you out of 50.00 to 80.00 for it... A budget of about 200.00 would be where I'd start with to find a suitable cage for your conure... eBay sells them and 200.00 will get a very comfortable cage for you off of eBay (200.00 should even include shipping).
Yes... please keep considering a larger cage. For a conure, I'd recommend a minimum of 24x24x36. Even larger is even better! If you have a larger budget... then please spend it. If you have a smaller budget... I'd consider saving some more $$$ even if it takes a few more weeks (even though I feel sorry for the little guy in that tiny cage) to get him the larger cage. Think of it this way... no matter how much you take him out of his cage; in 90% of the cases he'll still spend 'most' of his time in his cage. Would you want to be confined to an "8x4 prison cell" for the rest of your life with only a few hours of "yard time" each day. Make him happy... give him a "condo" at least, that way he won't learn to hate it when you put him into it after his few hours of "yard time". The best/largest you can afford is my recommendation. Don't take that last comment as an insult, it was not intended to be one - I was using prison life as metaphore to hugely over state an example... I'm actually applauding your efforts to seek a larger cage. On behalf of your fid... Thank you! Here's a picture of the cage we have for our Sun... it's a bit blurry but my sun is on the right hand side sitting ontop a perch in the upper front portion of her cage. (Our African Grey is on the left hand side of the cage). I don't have pics of the cage our green cheek is in but it's 18x18x42 and we have on order for him a replacement cage now of 32x32x54. The small 18x18x42 cage was always temporary until after the holidays, so that we could get him a permanent larger cage. Until now he basically only slept in the small cage and we put him in the larger one with Autumn to play. Anyhow.. back to the pic: ![]() Sorry that one is a little blurry... Here's a better one.... My sun is sitting on a rope perch in the center of her cage... ![]() Cage is a double Macaw standards cage actually. Overall cage size is 72x72x36 with the dual dividers in place each side is 1/2 that at 36x36x72....

Don't have pic to upload on this computer, but you can see a photo of Stewie's cage on my blog: Mr. Monk and the Sun Conure « Best in Flock - Blog About My Conure Parrot
I'll probably be getting him a bigger cage at some point soon.

I see you have big cages for your conures, some are big-parrot cages.
I don't think I want an HQ cage, since I already have one flight cage for the budgies and our dusky (same one as in greencina...'s pic). I will look for something not as heavy but roomy, so it is easier to clean in a tub. I remember seeing such cages in Pet Supplies Plus; need to visit that store soon, but first I need to save some money :( Thanks for all your pics.

These are my cages. The one on the left is for my lovebird. After she was weaned, I put her in the cage on top. When she turned about 4 or 5 months old, I bought the flight cage on the bottom. I didn't feel it was big enough, so I connected them.
The one on the right is for my gcc. He's actually very small for a gcc- only marginally bigger than my lovie. ![]()
