Utah & Nevada Heat Okay For Conures?

Is the dry, hot heat of Southern Utah okay for my Cinnamon Conures? Joe and I go to Nevada and Utah, areas where it gets to be 110 degrees. We plan to take Yogi and BooBoo, as well as our two tiels, Baby and Bert.

We're concerned about the dry heat and would appreciate any suggestions of special things we might have to do to keep our fids comfortable and safe.

The heat may be too much, so you'll want to make sure they remain cool. Also, it may be a good idea to have a humidifier or spray bottles for frequent bathing.

We'll be on Lake Powell, but the air is still very dry... Thank you Monica for your advice! :)

I live in northern utah, only gets 110' here. my swamp cooler gets me down to 85'. i think conures are from the jungle (hot), but you'll be smart to spray them or mist them often, as it is humid in the jungle.

I live in SW Oklahoma and we can see 110 in the summer. I wouldn't take my conures outside in that heat but as long as you keep them inside I don't think there should be a problem. Even though my babies are inside during the summer I make sure I mist them daily with cool not cold water.
