new baby coming home!

In just three weeks my new lovely yellow sided conure will be coming home! I still can't belive it!

We are getting as big a cage as we can and making sure we have a huge array of toys for him so over the first few days he can entertain himself in his new enviroment. I'll sit by him and chat to him in the first 2 days or so so he can get used to me and his new home.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips on helping the bonding process. I'm really concerned that he may not like me and feel lonely.


Any ideas?

oh and his name is going to be Tommy gun or tom for short.

I get mine soon too, and I completely relate to your excitement. I get mine in three weeks too. I've been able to visit mine a few times. I also worry on how we'll get along. He's already pinched me a little too hard. Not aggressively but just testing.
