Jewel is beautiful!! I really considered getting a Blue Crown once. But I just wasn't sure if I could tolerate their call. I'd love to be able to spend some time in person with one! They don't seem very popular in this area.

my jealously is with you - BCC are amongst my dream dream dream birds.... but currently i don't have enough time, and BF is not too keen on having 2 screamers

Blue crowned Conures are great. My bird, Kess, is the queen of our house. She is not loud but is particular about her "friends." Our sun conure, Khan, is more of a social bird. She is a better talker and loves to be "skritched" for as long as I will do it. I am sure Jewel is just that!

Jewel is beautiful. I would love to have a Bluecrown as well!!!! Especially after just watching "Paulie" again.

Jewel is not a noisey bird, you hear they scream a lot. She lets out a couple screams here and there, but they are not as high pitched as I would of thought. Her personality is the reason I wanted a blue crown. She is playful loving, and loves to cuddle. She is a lot of fun, she barks like a dog, says hello, and a lot of baby talk. I can't figure out what the heck she is trying to say.
