Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new to the board and wanted to introduce myself! My name is Jen and I have a 3 month old Black Capped Conure that was hand fed by me (I work at a pet store) since he was about 3 weeks old. He's great... just learning to play, slide down my chest on his back, hang upside down while I'm walking around the house also.

Other additions to the zoo are a full reef tank (I have a marine science degree), a gorgeous black DSH cat, 2 bronzed red factor canaries, and 3 other fish tanks.

So, I just wanted to say hi - tell everyone this board has been more than helpful. I'm one who does as much research as I can when I have something... and I look forward to being an active member!

Hey, I just got a Black Capped Conure, Check out "My Little Pumpkinhead" That's us! They are just the best hey? I could not have found a better bird in the world! Mine is just around 4 months now, so I'm sure we will be sharing stories as they go throught there stages. Nice little fellow your Quin. Was he the fifth of something, like your fifth pet or fifth egg to hatch? I worked with a woman once called Quin, who was named that because she was the fifth child.
