My GCC Talked YAY

Yesssssss,I have a 12 week almost 13 week old GCC,I spend alot of time with him as im sure most bird lovers do.I always say his name to him "Winston" and he seems to know his name well and to my suprise 1 time i thought i heard him say his name my girlfriend told me i prolly heard it cause i wanna hear it and so i thought she's prolly right lol.So yesterday i was sure he said it in the morning and in the afternoon,well bedtime comes around and i wrap his cage up and BANG I HEAR A FROGY SCRATCHY "WINSTON"I almost flipped, i grabbed the digital camera and pushed the lens into the blanket so the video would be black but have sound as i couldnt see him under there anyways.So i recorded it and omg he just kept sayin it "Winston" "Winston" i was insane with happiness and today he has said it prolly 30 times he a birdy genius!!I heard they really get talkin the little they can,around 9 months but i guess all are different i should post the video on youtubeand link it but theres no actual video just black and sound LMAO but you can hear him sayin his name Sorry im just so excited and gotta show my Winsters off lol cause my girlfriend can careless sadly and Winston loves her too!!!

WOW! That's pretty cool! My bird makes the sound of kisses, and clicks and says hello, but not very clearly, is "Winston" clear?

yeah my little GCC Meeka is 5months old and he is starting to say a few things although some words are a lot more clear than others. Sometimes he just babbles away and cant understand any of what he's saying.lol. always makes me feel a bit guilty i cant reconise what he is saying to say it back to him....oh well. Maybe they get better with age? although i know theyre not supposed to be the best of talkers anyway. im certain some will be better at talking than others though :)

Yea Teesha it sounds goofy omg if you heard it you insantly would know what he said but its not like a Grey clear but when he says it your like what the heck was that and you think that sounded like winston then he say it again and your like yep he said it.It's so funny your used to hearing whistles chirps etc.from birds but when he does it i go nuts cuz he knows thats him sounds more like"Winton" the "T" is more silent thats the BEST way to describe it perfectly i can hear it now LOL!!And Hula i bet your guy can be like Winston just keep on sayin t to him thousands of times LMAO i sounded like a record player half smashed.Now i think he tryin to say multi things example "Wintintintin" "Wintiiiiiiiiiiin"He's nutz im gettin excited thinkin about it now i think im gonna go tinker with him.

ahh ok cool. Yeh i wish they were gray clear, it would make them the PERFECT bird! haha
