Question Won't play with toys.

Chico, my 6 month old Sun Conure seemed to have lost all interest in playing with his toys. I let him out quite often; could that be the main reason? He has wooden toys in there he hasn't even chewed up yet.

are his toys in the cage? then he will finally play with them when he gets bored, but if he's out all the time he'll never be bored, or are they out side the cage on a play stand? then if he's always with you (velcro bird) he wont have time for toys. mine only play with cage toys when they are not eating or sleeping. the rest of the time the are out, and they'll only go to the play stand if they get tired of me, so they play with me more than their toys, but will ring a bell now and then, or shread my mail.

my sun isnt much of a chewer either, but he'll pull on things and ring bells and swing. my lovebirds, on the other hand, will shread every thing in reach.

I have a couple toys outside the cage but 4 of them in the cage that he seemed to get bored with. When he is out he will do his own thing then come to me and after awhile I will put him in the cage. When he is in there he just sits on the perch. Do you think I spoiled him and I should not let him out quite so much?
