dusky conures very loud?

hello, i recently acquired 2 dusky conures. ive read a lot of things about their noise levels, some say theyre really vocal and loud, others quiet. 1 of them is extremely loud, even if theyre out of the cage all day long, on as it comes time to go back in they scream and scream. i leave the room and they scream until i return. is there any reason for this besides attention? are they just loud? i normally just cover their cage for a few minutes when they scream then uncover them when they are behaving. but is it really misbehaving our is that just how they are? it doesnt bother me much but it probably bothers my neighbors quite a bit. and its really annoying when i am in a hurry and have to leave and have to try to get them quiet. theyre about 2 years ago, is this something that they do when theyre young and will grow out of? ive had them for a few months and have no plans on getting rid of them but would like some tips or info on keeping the screaming to a minimum ;P

any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.
