Do they settle down?

Bringing home my baby green cheek soon! Do they settle down with age or just get crazier?! Boy, does he/she have alot of energy! Any suggestions for out of the cage time to help use it constructively and burn some of that energy in a good way?

Rigel goes crazy on those little whiffle balls with a bell inside. I found it at PetCo in the ferret/rodent section. They seem to be the same thing that the parakeet hanging toys are made of, so I considered it safe. In fact that section has alot more things good for foot toys than the bird section.

Until I build a playstand, I am a fair substitute, and he takes out some energy climbing me. Not nearly enough though!

I've got a bunch of them that the cats didn't like. Are those the same thing?

I'm not sure if they're the same, probably. As long as they are plastic you should be able to wash them and use with your birdie. Fabric one's I would worry about, and also make sure the holes are big enough for him to stick his foot or head into.
