Do they settle down?

Bringing home my baby green cheek soon! Do they settle down with age or just get crazier?! Boy, does he/she have alot of energy! Any suggestions for out of the cage time to help use it constructively and burn some of that energy in a good way?

Toys, toys, toys oh yes and some toys . We have had Zoe for a year and a half. She hasn't lost an ounce of energy yet. She has however learned how to entertain herself better. In the beginning she played a bit with her toys but now she goes from one to the other and all around playing and making happy noises. She likes her newest toy the best. She was introduced to Zeus now that he is out of quarantine and she cant get enough of playing with him. None of our birds are caged during the day unless there is nobody home and that is very rare. Moving them around will keep them happy. From cage to playstand to maybe a boing or hoop-ball. Perhaps a new view out a window or a different room. Just try to remember they have a short attention span and like stimulation. Mine seem to play until the fall asleep in their tracks! Good luck and congratulations on your new baby.

Thanks for the reply. I will (for better or worse) be working during the day so will have lots of toys, and a radio. Possibly will put TV on a timer. I heard that can be comforting.
