It is surgery time for the conure I took in with crop burn

Well last night the scab starting weeping so first thing this morning I took her in on my way to work. I have been a nervous wreak all day. I have been told she did fine but I can't take her home till Monday just in case anything happens.

I still haven't named her yet, I guess I have been affaid to name her just in case something happened during surgery but now I know she did just fine I have been thinking of names for her and I am thinking of Jenna (she is a Jenday Conure) but I haven't really maded up my mind yet.

I know she has only been with me for such a short while it does seem strange not having her here at home with me, so this is going to be a long weekend.

Wow! That is such a shame for a little guy to go through surgery. I also have a Jenday and named her Jenny. Kind of a coincidence you would choose Jenna. Good choice though. I will keep her in my prayers.

She is lucky to have found you. Good luck, I am sure Jenna will be just fine!

I know you said you weren't sure of the name yet but I agree with Degrees55basebal that it would be a good choice if you go that way.
