Trying to identify a type of conure...

One of our new high school interns that just started for the summer has a bird (which I was extremely excited to hear about!). He's had the bird since he was 5 and he knows its a conure, but he doesn't know the type. He said it's all green, head and everything. I showed him a picture of a greencheek and he said that was definitely not it. If anyone has another type of conure that has lots of green, I'd love to hear about them and help this guy out. You can tell he's not nearly as 'bird crazy' as I am, but he says the bird is his and he takes care of it on his own (which I know is possible, but originally I thought it was his mom's bird that he was just claiming ) Pictures would be great too! Thanks!

I would probably say that its probably a White-Eyed Conure. They are basically all green with some orange and yellow under feathers on their wings and tails.

Yeah, I saw one of those when I googled. I'll have to print the picture and take it to work with me on Monday.

Our blue crown is mostly green. The blue on her head is not very pronounced, a bit of brick red in her tail feathers.

Your best bet would be to find a website that shows different conures or a book about conures. They always have tons of pics there. Good luck and please let us know when you find out. I am sure we all want to know what conure he has.

He went online last night and found out he has a dusky conure. I guess he felt guilty because I told him I would keep looking until I found out what type of conure it was
