Ok, you all might think I am crazy but I never noticed this before.... Every time I have my little sun conure and she begins preening and such, it looks like I have a severe case of dandruff! Is this normal?

yep- as they preen, the little bits of keratin flake off of the new feathers.
When Chino is done getting "preened" by my fingernails, we're both pretty flaky.
