Wink Becoming independent?

Hi, the name is Mike. I have a 7 Month old Sun Conure. I had her since 4 months. The bird has become extremenly fond of the entire family, but dependent at the same time. She want to be out all the time. She freaks out when we all leave the house, and she only scream(for the entire day) if someone leaves her sight. I don't mind this, but now that school is ending I will start going to the beach alot.

I usually would leave at 12Pm and come back around 5pm. I know the bird will start to become depressed and mad. So is there anything I can do to prepare her, or make her more independent? Keep in mind I will be doing this 4-5 times a week.

Since I had her, she was almost never alone. She always had someone in the house with her. I would keep the cage open and she would leave the Cage and stuff. Oh and the name is Eve

Most parrots don’t enjoy being left home alone or in their cage when their flock (you and your family) is home. It sounds as if you have conditioned Eve to always be with someone.
To begin, Sun Conures are vocal and loud by nature. You need to acclimate Eve to be in her cage some of the time that your family is home. Also, you need to reinforce her being quiet and ignore her when she screams. When she’s by herself and in another room, do not return to the room if she is screaming. If she’s quiet, quickly go in, praise and reward her quietness. It will take some time and consistency on your part to have success with modifying Eve’s behavior.
When you first begin doing this, Eve may make a “contact call” to find her flock. Reply back to this with a low volume, calm response such as, “I’m right here” or “You’re fine”. You may even find a simple sound or whistle will reassure her.
Making her cage entertaining for her is important. Does Eve’s cage have plenty of toys that she plays with and daily opportunities for foraging?
Good luck in modifying Eve’s screaming behavior.

parrots gain vitamine d at the eye ring, cause the rest of their body is covered in feathers. just like humans, birds need to be eased into summer, with limited early exposure. a few minutes the first time, then wait a few days, and expose for a half hour, then more, and more, just like you would on your own skin. take some breaks in the shade, and have drinking water on hand, or a mister.

Now I got a question that the books dont really explain and I have 3 :D. How do you make you bird not scream infront of "New" people, or should we call them strangers??
Should I use a cage so she doesnt bite them or the Children(since she does right AWAY)

if we're still talking about the beach. the screaming will subside in a while. conures arent any louder than the rest of the beach birds. if she is a biter, i would take her in a small cage with toys, and put a towel over half of it, or enough of it so she can have a place to get out of the sun if nesesary. do you use a beach umbrela? dont forget water.

I had her about 3 months(I think) is it too early to take her out. Will letting her see the outside world make her hate me more??

I don't understand your questions.
Why would it be too early to take her outside? Fresh air, moderate sun, new things to see - this is all good for a parrot.

Parrots are animals that have been removed from everything they instinctually know and go on to live in our world.

Parrots are flock animals; a human being can never replace a bird-companion.
