Oh ya! We give the birds at the store straws, straws with the lid for the bigger birds, and fold a paper towel long ways 3 times, tie it in a loose knot, then kinda tear the ends so they are stringy. You can size it down for your green Cheek. It's alot cheaper than bird toys too! And the tooth brushes with the bright colors and the squeshy stuff on it. They LOVE thoes. You can buy a pack of them for pretty cheap.

Ya my Amazon had one of theos orange toys (except hers was blue) but she never used it. She never really played with toys. Strange I know. She loved to sit on the top of her cage and crawl down and nip at my toes while I was doin my homework then run back to her cage and pretend she didn't do it.

Yeah I originally put the straws in so she has to pull them out for the food to drop but she's too impatient to pull the straws out so she just bashes it till the food falls out.

Yes, green cheeks go through a very nippy stage.... we used to have one and once we got over that stage (lasted a few months) she was the sweetest thing ever! Good luck with your decision.

Maybe thats it. Oh and my green cheek also uses her feet like the bigger birds do, she will hold things in her feet just as my alex does.
