Yeah if i give her a little toy or a bit of avicake she will hold it in her foot and pick at it. It's so cute! Even if i give her a sunflower kernal that she thinks is too big she'll hold it in her foot.

We have been talkin marage but in the next few years. Do they like him?

No they like him...i do not let my birds get overly bonded with me..learnt in the past that bonded birds arent good, i let them bond to me to an extent but i make them go to other people. I have always let other people hold my birds and give them treats (and in beetles case, scratches) so they're good with other people. I came home the other day and couldnt find my green cheek..started panicking and ran out to find my green cheek asleep on my dad lol.

My alex LOVES my boyfriend..she annoys him sometimes trying to bite his belt or eat his food but then he starts laughing at her. She normally falls asleep on him, it's so cute! No room for jealousy here, if they're getting attention they don't care lol...the jealousy is mainly between the birds. Matches is a bit of a bully to beetle but beetle refuses to get out the way lol..

My baby boy tries to do the same. I got him some plastic cat toy balls with a bell in them. They're a little to heavy, so when he attempts to control it and hold it with his foot, he winds up hitting himself in the head, lowering his leg, bringing up his leg, and hitting himself again. It doesn't hurt him, and he seems to love hearing me laugh.

That's Good! I need a bird that's not typicly a jelous one. My all time favorite bird is an African Grey!!!!! I would do anything for one!!!! But with me being so young and there is still a few years befors I really start thinkin of marage, and then kids. I'm so afraid it will hate my husband and be jelous of my kids. I know several different people who come into the store and say that their bird caused them a devorce because of the wrong bird for their situation. There is this one lady who came in yeserday and is fixin to get a devorce because her husband said him or the bird! And I just don't want that. I mean I love birds. But I would love to have a family also and I don't want to wait till I have ALREADY gotten married and had kids and then bring a bird in.

my bords handle my boyfriend well...but sometimes he's gone for a week or two working out of town & boy oh boy - when he comes home there is a HUGE power struggle. My original bird (got at 12 weeks old - other 2 are older birds & recent rescues) will velcro himself to my face! Right against my mouth usually & anytime the bf tries hugging or kissing me 'chel lunges at & attacks him. This continues for two days. I would discourage it but it's kind of become a fun little game for them - & the bf works in construction so his hands can take the bites (mine not so much!) after a day or two they re-bond & all is fine again. it's actually kinda funny to watch. I figure as long as no one gets hurt they can play their stupid little game!
