The little one looks great!

My resolve was sorely tempted last night (speaking of getting another conure...)

Phoenix had her first vet checkup last night and after a good checkup and a quick nail trim, she and I walked through the pet store that the vet's office is attached to. I brought her by the Sun Conure they have there and they squaked and screeched at each other.

It was then I noticed that they had a cage with 7 pineapple green cheeks there. Their normal price at the pet shop was $400, and they were marked down to $200! GAH! I was SOOOO tempted to get Phoenix a playmate, but I thought about it, and the 3 birds we have right now take up all of our extra free time, and we would not be able to give the pineapple GCC the amount of attention it would need. And to make it worse, the lady running the cages at the time opened the cage and got one out... The little one walked right onto my hand and looked at me like, "Can I pwease come home with you?!" BUH! It was so hard to put it back into the cage... Thier sale ends July 3rd... I talked with my wife and we were seriously trying to figure out what we could do to make it work.....

It still might happen, but I dunno...
