Goofy links!

Would the large size, with a 1cm diameter, be too big? The label reads "For macaws or smaller" and both my conures will be in a 36x18x30 cage and will want to climb. The smaller size they have is about .3cm in diameter.

(Sadly, the medium size that used to be sold no longer is, and the small size looks too small for their talons...)

The website has a different caption: (Large) Goofy Links is perfectly sized for Amazons, African grays, cockatoos, eclectus, and toucans. and saying the small size is suitable for parakeets, cockatiels, finches, et al...

Neither specifically says "Conures".

Thx!

I have seen the big one and passed on it. I am afraid that their heads could get stuck inside the shape thing, and not be able to come out.

Some birds may like those- particularly very large birds- however, I've not seen smaller birds really paying that much attention to things like that.
They do like to climb, but it seems the smaller birds like to climb their cages or a rope-type toy they can grab onto better.
If you want to see if your birds are into the plastic links for climbing, you could test it out by going to the dollar store and getting some shower curtain rings. That way your only out a dollar instead of $10 if they dont like it.

I have the same links in Chief's (GW) cage and I agree that it may be a hazard to a conure. Depending on how you were planning to place the links, you could put a rope perch, or even an appropriate sized rope hanging from the top of the cage. Both my macaws have a large rope from ceiling to floor with knots in their cages. They can climb or swing, and it gives them something else to hold onto when they get someone that's difficult to get down from.
