Options when going overseas

What options are out their if u have pets and u are going overseas for a year? Other then family and friends.

I think that really depends on which country you're entering. Most have quarantine laws that would see pets held for months... which for a year trip might not be too fair.

bird babysitters??? there are people out there who would do it. the only thing i would worry about is if the bird missed me or *shock shock* forgot about me and bonded to the other people who was looking after him. that's the only thing stopping me from going to canada for a year!
