Question Birdie Bread for gcc

I want to start making birdie bread for my new baby (she is 2 1/2 months old). This week she has started gobbling down her veggies. She ate a ton of red pepper and seems to love grapes, celery, cucumber and cooked chick peas. I am so happy she seems to be enjoying healthy foods. Our other birds are so picky they just won't eat more than a few things.

I love to bake and I have some good cornbread recipes, so I suppose I will use one of those as a base. Any suggestions as to what to add? None of the online recipes are suitable as I will not have eggs in my house. And most seem to use commercial corn bread mix anyway, which I also am not wild about.

The breeder weaned her on Roudybush, and I am keeping her on that, with the addition of a bit of veggie Zoopreem.

Thanks for any advice.

I cook a lot for my bird, I think t is fun trying new things that most of the time he loves too. Many times I do use egg though...do you keep substitute?

I do have a few non-bread recipes that don't include egg. I post them on another forum:

And there is this one, that you could easily leave the egg out of:

Thanks, some good suggestions. The quinoa salad looks a lot like my usual dinner! I'll try some for her this weekend. And, if egg isn't an essential ingredient in a recipe, I can sub flaxseed for binding instead.

I don't use egg because I am vegan. I have real issues with exploiting one bird for the sake of my little fid-bird.

My baby hasn't shown much interest in grains or starches yet, but is scarfing the veggies. I gave her some lovely organic apple today and she ate the peel off every single piece but did not touch the rest. Craziness.
