Newbie

Hi
I'm a newbie. I have a one year old Sun Conure named Tiki(my first conure) that I brought home when she was 4 months old. She is the love of my life!
She says night night, kiss kiss and makes the noise very realistic and her name.
She loves to be with me at all times and gets really mad if I've been gone all day.
I'll attach a couple of pictures of her.
I can't wait to get to know eveyone here and learn more about conures.
Jaye : )

Thank you and...

Thanks for the welcome! I am feeling totally lost on how to read and reply to posts. I think I figured out the signature thing. LOL!
If I don't answer someone, please don't take it personally, I'm just clueless. LOL!

Thanks!

The pictures I've seen of sun conures show them mostly yellow, yet she seems to be gong more orange. Not sure why, but I'm kind of liking it.

Newbie sort of

I received an email today talking about you guys celebrating your 2nd anniversary. CONGRATS! So I followed the link and realized I had signed up for your board, but never came back.
I'm so glad I received the email, so now I came back and will enjoy! Only took me a year by the looks of it. LOL!

Jaye, just start playing around. You'll figure things out. Took me a little time but not too much. Anything you can't figure out, don't hesitate to ask. Everybody is good at jumping in and helping!

Hi there!

she a beauty! I just got our Sun a week ago. We are bonding nicely as she is just coming off weaning. Tell me how did you train her to say these things? I am intersted in hearing about your experiences with your Conure. Thanks a million!

Beautiful!!!

Oh my gosh, they're beautiful!!!
I wondered when Tiki's wings would turn. I've seen a couple pictures of conures with lots more yellow. I love the rich orangy heads.
