Ori is Talking!

My peach front conure Orrin(I've been calling him Ori for short ) is talking! On his 3 month old birthday(August 9), he said "So cute!" and made kissing sounds. Just tonight, he said "Kisses!" before making kissing sounds and said "Ori so cute!". He also mumbled a bunch of other stuff, but I wasn't sure what it was. It is amazing how fast they pick up words, especially for such a young bird! Yeah Ori!

Now the big question: Will he do it in front of other people when asked, or does he try to make it look like you imagined it?

Did it just happen or were you training.... I talk to Chloe all the time (kinda the way I talked to my kids when they were first learning to talk) and I wondered it is something that just comes with time?

Ori will talk for other family members, so I don't think we're imagining it! Now if I could only get it on camera...

I was just talking to him one day and he started talking back! He especially likes to talk to himself in front of the mirror and give Ori kisses! I wonder what words he will learn next... I am so proud of him! :)

NO he will only do it for her and make other people think she is a crazy bird lady who thinks her bird is talking
