Question Weight Gain Questions

Hi guys and gals..
If anyone has needed to put healthy weight on a conure, I would appreciate suggestions. I am using flax seed oil, missing link, and soak seeds for the vitamin deficiency. Our new babe is 152 grams and should be between 164 and 184 (so around 174 average). So far he/she is not a great eater.
Thank you for your time...

I've used Avigain to great results when nothing else worked for Kiva.

I've never seen it. I wonder if it is in Canada?

My cherry head usually averages around 150-160 grams, maybe a little more. She's not underweight, by any means! (and you can see her stomach well enough to tell!). I've seen one cherry head smaller than she, and this little one probably weight about 130 grams!

Cherry heads should weigh between 150-200 grams, depending on the size of the bird. If Pepper doesn't feel underweight (feeling keel bone), then I wouldn't really worry about it. Just make sure he gets fed a healthy diet! He sure is gorgeous!
