Post How much did your conure cost and other information

Okay, what i want to do is get everyone with a conure (Green cheeked to Queen or Baravia and everything inbetween) or any one who knows about pricing in there area to say how much they cost, there country, there state, there area (and or postcode) and some additional stuff that will be shown later in this post.

* I'm not sure if this has been done yet in birdboard, if it has sorry.

The idea is for people all over the world to know about pricing and availability of Conures in there area.

*Only list birds that are sold in your area, because ya dont want 500 birds listed with ''lol dunno'' - Put colour mutations down aswell as non-mutants.

I am pricing in Australian Dollar (Use what ever currency you use, i'll compare the currencies later and post it all in CAD, NZD, AUD, YEN, USD, and any other that is requested)

Green Cheek Conure - $200-500
Cinnamon Greek Cheek - $400-700
Sun Conures: $500-900 Nandanays: $500-900
Nanday Conure: $400-1200
Patagonian: $5900

Country: Australia
State, Province, Territory or other: New South Wales
City: Blacktown
Postcode: 2767

Breeders or stores that sell conures and your rating of them:

Kellyville Pets: 9/10
General Pets and Aquariams: 6/10
Krystals Pet Store: 5/10
Turners Pet Mart: 7/10

Things you want to add:

If ya want to add something that isn't above, here is the place.

Hope this works :D

My sun was $375 from a great breeder. In stores around here they can be $600+.

But the price of the bird was the tip of the iceburg...I have spent 10X that much this year on food, toys, vet, cage...etc...

I paid $250 for my two greencheeks from a PetCo Store in Long Beach, CA.

Then I got 3 GCC's for free when they bred lol

Probably paid a good $500-1000 in cage/food/toys though over the course of 2 years and the cost increases all the time with a flock of 5. God help me when they have more babies, selling them is so sad

Well lets see, Cricket is 2 months old, she is a GCC, and she was $50 only because she has a handicap. Missing toes on one foot but she is doing GREAT! I bought her a used cage for $20. Spent close to $70 buying her pellets, platform perch, comfy perch, happy hut, beak appetite, 3-5 other toys from PetSmart, another $25 at wal-mart for some more toys and things to make her toys with. Feather Paws is bringing her a new cage for Christmas. That's $100. But in the end, it's PRICELESS!

My GCC I purchased from a breeder in Knoxville, TN for $350. His cage came from petsmart and I paid about $250 for it.

My Sun, I bought from a different breeder of exotic birds in Knoxville for $300. I got her, the cage, pellets, seed, and a mix of dried fruits she loves plus a happy hut and about 5 toys for $387 taxes included.

Geekasaurus, sadly it wasn't mistypen, it was $5900 AUD . . . An eclectus was about $2000 (not tamed, same as the patagonian) $2900 for a yellow fronted amazon - I don't even want to know how much there black cockatoos where D: oh yah, and they had a pair of caiques for $2500 . . . None of em were tamed or anything. - Poor birds looked so bored as well, so many feathers were plucked from all of the birds, sadly i don't think i can call the RSPCA over birds being very bored.

My green cheek was $250 from the breeder. Chloe (the bird) has a sister that is being sold for $450 at a pet store in town and there is a rose crowned conure for $450 as well there. Man, the rose crown is so sweet and docile. Makes my green cheek look like a wild thing!

Oh-- I am in Ontario, Canada. Southwestern part.
