Question: just got a 2nd GC

i know that new birds should be quarantined but i'd just like some specifics. I just brought home a regular GC (6 months old) this weekend to my cinnamon GC (8 months old). i'm keeping them on opposite sides of a large room & they both seem to be doing fine. they've been curious about each other but i haven't let them get close. the new baby will get on my shoulder & give me smooches but is still a little nervous about me really handling him. I've given him a few treats out of my own hand and kissed him a lot. he's alright about me, just needs a few more days to calm down around the new people.

any suggestions/advice would be great! Thanks in advance
