Large Cage Options for Conures

I'm looking at new cage options for my 2 GCCs. They each have brand new 22x22x36 cages, but I'm looking for something bigger. I know that a lot of people use the HQ Flight Cages (or similar brand) and I have looked at the double flight cage as well, but I'm curious if anyone knows of any options besides those that are just as large or larger. Everything I seem to find has bar spacing of 3/4" or larger. I'm not necessarily looking for a double cage, just 2 large cages. One aspect of the cages I have that I really like are the seed guards. While that's not a requirement, I certainly love the convenience. Just looking around, trying to spend more money I don't have (not to mention make the fids happier!). Thanks!

Did you check out the website Birdscomfort.com? They are the cheapest I've found for the HQ flights, and they have lots of different cages. It's hard to find one that has the proper length instead of just being tall.. unless going with the flight cages. At least that's what I found when I was looking....

I've been all over birdscomfort.com! It seems that almost every "parrot" cage is tall rather than wide. I can find plenty that are plenty tall (40 - 50"+), but still only 22-24" wide (or too wide of bar spacing). It looks like the only choice may be the flight cages. I know that is definitely the cage of choice for most people, so that's probably the way I'll go.

You know, I was skeptical of the HQ flight cage because I really wanted a cage with a seed guard, but turns out that somehow magically there is less mess with the flight cage (and that's taking into consideration that her old cage HAD seed guards!)....not sure if it's because Aki has more room IN her cage to make a mess or what, but I was actually surprised. Not to mention that she used to projectile poop out of her old cage and as soon as she went into the flight cage it was like magic...no more poop flying at the walls, lol.

I am a huge fan of the HQ flight. It's easy to clean and it's not expensive for it's size. Other that that one I can't really recommend a good one since it's the only large one I've had, but thought I'd toss my opinion out there. :)

I like the play tops because our birds are out so much, and they have access to food etc... while they are on top playing. Then with Pepper's newest bigger cage, we added a play top. It was originally a dome top.

little bigger than the HQ flights, 5/8in (.625in) bar spacing, I don't *think* thats too big.

Don't know how much you want to spend, but King's Cages makes some of their larger cages available in 1" OR 5/8" bar spacing. Very nice. :)

I saw those and thought about them, but just decided against it. I know it's what most people use but I guess I just have something against those flight cages. I ended up going with the A&E CC3232 corner cage. Since my GCCs have decided to house themselves together, I needed a bigger cage to accommodate. The picture is below. It is 33" on the 2 longest sides in the back and I believe the other 3 sides are about 19" each. The interior height is roughly 53" and overall it is 72"H. It's not as spacious as the double flight, but it was the best option for our space. It is being delivered today so I can't wait to get it set up.

Even though I already ordered a new cage, I have never seen this one before. It looks like a great alternative to the *common* flight cage.
