Day 1 to Weaning: Development of a Sun Conure - Comments Thread

So do you hand feed from day one? Or do you still let the parents feed the first two weeks? I've heard both trains of thought... just curious what yours was. I'm excited to see your thread take off!

If possible I let the adults feed, but this hen laid 5 eggs and will only take care of 3. The last two were incubated from day 1 and will be hand-fed throughout.

Happiness is having a shop-vac for a regular vacuum, feeling nutriberries between the toes in the mornings, & the occasional sip of hand-feeding formula when you mistake it for morning coffee. Ahh life!

What's a tangerine? Is that a sun that is more orange? I didn't know they had color mutations in the suns.
