Football!
Nara just got a batch of new toys of help ease the discomfort of molting. As usual, she picked out a favorite and started playing with it.
YouTube - Nara's new toy You can see how heavy her molt has gotten. There's pin feathers and fluff everywhere, and now the back of her head has started dropping the green feathers as well. I'd say she looks horrible, but my gf would slap me.

 Happiness is having a shop-vac for a regular vacuum, feeling nutriberries between the toes in the mornings, & the occasional sip of hand-feeding formula when you mistake it for morning coffee. Ahh life!

Awww love the video. She doesnt look too bad for a molt - Oliver has looked terrible for months. I was hoping the Emi would help those pinfeathers but nothing so far!! I hope her molt passes quickly.

that basketball video is staged and patched together. I thought I'd read on a bird list that it's mostly fancy editing, but I could be wrong.
My goodness, Nara's loving her toy. Her tail looks funny :)

The part that makes me laugh the most is when she holds the ball in one leg and then bangs it against her face.
Diane, her tail is just coming in. I keep telling her she's going to be very pretty soon and thats he shouldn't stress over it.
