Can somebody tell me

What sub-species of conure this is? He seems to be sun, but doesn't have much green on him at all. Any help would be appreciated.

I have no idea being fairly new to conures but he is very pretty. His wings remind me of the Queens....XD See, if I had any say-so I would have thought a queen/sun hybrid. ^-^
Sorry I wasn't much help.

I agree that it looks like a pied mutation sun conure. xafsmom breeds this mutation so she could probably say for sure.

Thanks everyone. I want to introduce myself, I have been lurking for quiet a while. I currently have 2 sun conures, Peaches who is a year old and Dutch who is 5 months old. We also have 2 cockatiels and are about 7 and a half years old, Elivis and Gracie. A german shepard, Cadence and a Pom, Abby. Husband of 20 years, 19 year old son and daughter and a 15 year old son. The picture is of a bird that is currently in a shelter that I am thinking of adopting, but haven't decided yet.

I sent an e-mail to the shelter about him and they had adopted him out yesterday, so I guess I don't have to worry about it anymore. Thanks for all the info though, I had never seen one that was like that.

Carbon, I whimpered.. then I looked at the face and body type. Too slim in build, face isn't blocky, eye isn't large enough and the beak is thin vs thick. Beautiful color, not up to my genetic standards.

Color isn't everything, it has to be physically built a certain way. I don't breed the string bean Suns.
