Umm.. yeah.. what Xafsmom said... LOL! I LOVE the part about the 'ditzy happy suns' That's Rico in a nutshell... and Papi as long as he's with one of us seperately now... didn't take long for him to 'move on' from his boy toy Angel... LOL!

On a good note.. he may end up loving your kid to death... even if he does continue to see you as the thing he *must* kill! I have to say I'm thinking that *some* Jendays just have issues... LOL!!

Xaf disagrees with your 'issues' comment and suggests you come say that to his face.

This is again why we don't listen to Xaf!

be patient (it's only been a few days), give him space, interact with him daily (i.e. be near him and talk to him) and hopefully with this he'll come around! he could be biting because of a multitude of things and not because he's simply a meaning: he could be scared of his new environment/people, being moody from molting, etc.

don't be discouraged. keep working with him (i.e. not by handling him but by interacting with him in other ways: offer him treats, be the one to do the things he likes (get him up in the morning, etc.). and, if all goes as planned, you will definitely be rewarded with the most wonderful little companion...believe me, i have a ~3 year Jenday that i love to pieces and is the most loving, loyal, intelligent...and so on and so on.
