Talking Rico and the Jolly ball...

I had to restrain myself on how much 'stuff' I added to the ball to begin with, as Rico and Rayne both were afraid of it. However, Rico (who is usually the bigger chicken) decided it was time to check out that thing that's been hanging in the living room for a few weeks...

He has gone inside it, too... and come out the top! Unfortunately, this was while I had the memory card in my computer to upload these photos!

That is so adorable! I think I'd fear the Jolly Ball too!

Great job! I have seen them here: Pionus Parrot's Jolly Balls , Grey Feather Toys parrot toys, parrot food, bird play gyms and bird care products .

I got it from Jan on this forum. I'm hoping Rayne will get curious enough to check it out, too! It's the first website that Matt posted the link to.

Rico looks adorable on there. I wonder if Toby would like one? I know Jeb would but I dunno how he would get in and out.

If he can climb a ladder, you could put it over his cage and put in two small holes for the ladder hooks... I put down a leaf-shaped shredder that I got off her website in the bottom so it's not slippery on the bottom... it also takes away the 'dip' in the bottom. I also got the plastic chains and hung them so they go down the sides by the openings...which is how Rico climbed in. We put the 'coat rack' stand under it so he could play with the toys without having to hang onto the ball at first. He wouldn't fly to it. I think with a few minor modifications, Jeb could use it.
