update on Bailey

Hi everyone Bailey is doing good finally settling in more took him 3 weeks so far. Well his medication is now over with. As yo all know Bailey was weaned onto pellets, when i got him his poos smelled and were sloopy. The vet put him on medication which worked a bit but his poos still smelled and seemed a little sloopy still. Well i decided to switch him over from pellets to seed to my surprize he took to the seed quite well considering before he wouldn't touch them. Well since giving him seed,fruit and veggies no pellets his poos no longer smell or sloopy. So i believe it was the vetafarm south american pellets that did this to Bailey.

You also know i converted MoJo over to pellets well she didn't do well on them either. She was only on them for a week and she already showed lack of energy,very quiet,mushy poo,loss of condition even tho the sacles said she weighed 70grams she sure didn't feel it and the meat on the sides of the keel bone were sinking in. I also noticed in both birds alot of scratching so my birds are seed, fresh fruit and veggie eatters. This diet seems to work best for my birds.

If they're eating their fruits and veggies then pellets aren't as necessary. :D
