I'm very excited!!! I just placed an order.

I'm more interested in keeping the Green Cheek from annoying my husband. If he keeps up the honking and the biting, it gets difficult for him to get any love when I'm traveling on business.

Maybe at least he won't get flushed down the toilet.

Just kidding of course :)

Cool, I'm curious to see if it'll work as well for macaws as it did for my sun. Do let us know. And don't forget to make use of the discount!

Ah, I was wondering where you got "cotton" from. I didn't watch the video, but I think you're right.

question, I bought the clips, but the blankets plus clips look really heavy. How do I secure them to drywall without bringing the wall down?

LOL they're a lot lighter than they seem. I was even able to hang one of them using just nails and no clips.

My husband used to build speakers. He was skeptical at first, commented you have to do the whole room and cover the hollow door. I mentioned that was stated in your how to. Will be interesting to see what I end up with.

Oh, I have no doubt that doing the whole room would be the best. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to do that, so I ordered the most basic package and tried to find the best configuration with it.The current outcome was more than I hoped for though, so I'm pretty happy with it. My biggest concern was the amount of noise escaping to the outside, and currently you can only barely hear her squawks outside my room.

In the future though, if I set up an independent "bird room", I plan to do the whole thing.

I've also just realized that I can put one on the top of the cage in a half-dome shape, and this way she can still play on her top gym and I'll only have to cover the front at night.
