The Newest Member Of The Family!!!
My 11 yr. old daughter bought her first parrot over the weekend. His name is SAMMY, and he is a Nanday. He is 2 yrs. old.... and such a good boy already. We found him on kijiji... a woman had an aviary at her home, and was downsizing. I would honestly describe it as more of a "rescue" (she informed me she was really only looking to make a profit off of the cage, and was throwing him in for free). He definitely was NOT given the love and attention he deserves. My daughter and Sammy have bonded already... it's too cute. We feel very blessed to have him with us. He is truly a GIFT!!

 Happiness is having a shop-vac for a regular vacuum, feeling nutriberries between the toes in the mornings, & the occasional sip of hand-feeding formula when you mistake it for morning coffee. Ahh life!
