Question Pied Sun?

Is their such thing as a pied sun? If so anyone have a pic they can post. They had a young sun at Petsmart today and i didn't think it looked like a normal sun. It had a lot more green on it, and even green spots on the top of its head. Pedro never had that as a baby. I know all suns start off with a lot more green, but he just looked a lot different. His colors were all over and more blended, kinda hard to describe.

There's a thread where we discussed pied suns. I'm sure the search engine will turn it up. It has pictures and all.

Young suns are very green. :) Some molt sooner than others. My sun at 6 months old looked like an adult, but others that are 8 months old still have lots of green. Lots of variation. :)

My sun looked nothing like a sun at 3 months. She was very very very very (enough?) green. Then suddenly, at 4-5 months, the transformation started and continued to hasten such that now, at about 6 months, she's at least half as bright as an adult sun.

It has nothing to do with pieds (I should've read the whole post instead of just the first sentence).

Even green spots on her head? Also their seemed to be orange in places most suns don't have orange.

Pied essentially means "absence of color", so you'd never see green being the color of a pied - or at least the green part wouldn't be the pied part. Green feathers aren't, they're really blue and yellow, we can only visually see it as green.

Here's a young Sun with a good amount of what I call 'unripe mango' on his head:

Here's a pied baby:
