for the fids!! Cricket and Benji seem to really like it so far too. It isreplacing the tinker toy kind of thing I made before. Its to rickety. I got the idea at the bird mart. I used an Oak cutting board for the base. Some 2 x 2 cut to various lengths as well as 5/8" dowel. One 7/16" dowel that I will hang a mini boing or something from.

A couple questions though...are there any specific woods that need to be used? Did you drill a hole all the way through and slide the dowel in or just partially? And lastly, is it glued together?

as far as what to use Safe and Dangerous Woods is one place to make sure what I am using is ok. Other then the deck the rest is pine. I didn't drill all the way threw, only about 3/4 of an inch and I did glue the dowels in.
