Help Making Manzanita Playstand/Gym
My father owns a petstore here on Long Island, where my two Sulphur Crested Cockatoos spend most of there days chatting with the customers and kids. We are building a room two keep the birds and also a few more. I like the idea of keeping my toos in a seperate room where kids can't but their fingers in the cage. It will have a big front window. ok finally my question
have any of you experienced making your own stands for perches using manzanita...the ones I see are very expensive but this site offers the wood cheap and am considering making a very large stand where my too's can stay out of their cage all day. any help will be greatfully appreciated. even as far as where to by supplies? as I was considering make a few stands not jsut one and maybe trying my hand at making a few to sell if they come out nice! this is a site I found? any experience? http://www.manzanita.com/perches.htm Thanks for the help! I am interested in making my stand as well. That website seems like a good place to get started. Thanks for the link. Question, do you buy the base from them also and screw the various branches on? If so what type of screw is to be used or they all the same as long as they are not exposed?
