I was walking today and found the PERFECT twisty branch to make a small desktop play gym... but my problem is I'm not sure what kinda of tree it came from. I'm pretty sure it's sycamore but I don't want risk it, just because I'm not sure. Can I wrap it in anything? is duct tape bad? I would use like vet wrap but It's not easy to clean... Any other suggestions?
I know how to make it sterile... the only trees directly around were sycamore trees (it looks like it came from them) but what if it came from somewhere else?!?! I'll post a picture as soon as my sister gets home... cause she's the only person who knows where the cord for the camera is... ![]()

I found a good branch today too! It was a eucalypt and all twisted. It's good to always rely on those good ol' gum tree branches ;)
Good luck finding out what kind of branch it is and don't risk anything with your birdies.
