I like using sisal best. It "breaks" easily and is all natural, I've never had a problem with birds getting tied up in it (they are supervised though but not always 24/7). I do (when I can get a batch ordered in) get either superior or supreme cotton rope depending on which is available in the size I need at that time. I just got done dying 6, 100 foot rolls of sisal (6 different colors) and am getting ready to do my sisal twine. We have a bird fair next month and we also sell toys on our rescues website to raise money for bird care (vets etc) and my stock is getting a little low. Plus all the rescue birds get to "pick out" new toys every week and when adopted they all go home with at least one new (besides any older ones not completely destroyed

) appropriate sized toy.
Thanks for the compliment

I am going to be working on toys for the next few weeks, it becomes almost a full time job especially since I always have to take MANY breaks for the feathered flock!
