looking for calcium clusters ??

I brought one of these toys at a local pet store. and i love the color of the calcium rocks. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find them so I can make my own toys with em? Thanks

looked this up on diy calcium blocks

Feeding Cockatiels

i guess to make it interesting colors, u can add food coloring

Now here is a question, while looking else where i ran across a similar recipe, and people were concerned about the Plaster of Paris being a carcinogen. Anyone have any thoughts about that?

i guess u could find something else thats more safe to bond?

not sure what u would use tho

i know this post is old but i was about to ask the same question about the plaster of paris but what do the manufactures that actually make the calcium blocks use to bond it i have never seen an ingredients label where i get them from they could be using the same stuff and we wouldn't know about it.

hum....I wouldnt think it was a good idea, and certainly is a good question for your vet next time you are there for a visit.
