Toy Parts: Sterling Silver Chain/Wire, Rope

Hello,
I have a 17 month-old Senegal Parrot. Does anybody have a website ( or store ) that sells bird-safe Sterling Silver parts - pear links, chain, wire, etc. Also, a website ( or store ) that I can find bird-safe Cotton Rope?
I have made some purchases and would like to know if they are safe:

WALMART:
A cotton mop refill (for cotton rope)
9x6mm Pony Beads
Fisher-Price Link-a-doos 20 link pack for Children Newborns

HOME DEPOT:
Plastic link chain

AC MOORE CRAFT SUPPY:
Natural Wood, Unpainted* (NWU*) Spools 5/8"
Individually sold, unpainted wood items ( pegs, spools, etc)
Foster's Wooden Doll Pins
Susan Bates Hoop-La Embroidery Hoop ( to wrap cotton rope on=swing?)

If I am on the wrong track, or if substitutions are suggested, I'd love to know. I am already starting to make toys !

Thank you so much, everybody !!

Looks like you are doing just fine so far!

Most places are now using nickel coated instead of SS metal. The price of SS has become as bad as copper. The nickel is not horrid... just stay away from zinc coated (these coatings are applied to resist rust and corrosion).
