Want to build a large Budgie cage
Hi,
I want to build a large indoor cage for my two budgies. I made a flight for my finches with wire mesh, but I am concerned that since the budgies chew so much and have strong beaks that the mesh will not hold up and then there is the zinc issue, too. If you have built one (or KNOW about building one) can you give me some ideas, advice, suggestions?

im also really interested in building a large budgie cage. But I only have experience with herps (reptiles and amphibians). Here is a link to a woman who made a wooden cage for her bird. I actually used cloth mesh...and I have two heavy chewers and they still haven't torn it and absolutely love it....
