You've inspired me

I was looking in this section the other day and I seen a setup that blew me away. I told my husband that I could probably make most of those hanging things because I had prints and instructions how to do them. So.....here is my first effort and not a bad one I must say. Abby, my TAG is petrified which is to be expected. She is young and very curious and I am thinking by the end of the weekend she will be all over it. Oh, she will have so much fun when she starts to play. So, it's off to plan for the next one in a couple of weeks.

Woo that looks like fun, I think an atom is going to be my next project. You can never have enough stuff to bash your head on I say. :D Great job!

Are those miniature hula hoops wrapped with vet wrap? I am about to make an atom, only much smaller for lovebirds. I have all the parts made, just have to stick it all together and let the birds have at it.

Yup, they sure are. Seems like there is a shortage of hula hoops in my city. I had to get three of one size and one was a bit bigger. But, I managed to cut them so they were all the same size. The vet wrap is what is throwing Abby. She has walked on it before but, I don't think she remembers what it feels like new. The wrap she walks on now has been down for almost a year and it's not so sticky feeling.

That's a great idea - and doesn't look to hard to make. I'll have to take a stab at it.

It only took me a couple of hours from start to finish and the hardest thing to do was taking the hook out of the celing from where another toy had been. Good thing I've got a strong hubby.
