New cheap toy discovery!
Young coconuts!!!!!!
After I cut the top, drain the water and scoop out most of the meat, I give Mo, I give the shell and cap to MO, he eats the meat fromt he cap and then goes to town on the shell!!!, pulling ALL the fiber off takes a few days and is NEVER boring as far as he's concerned,...... The last coconut toy I bought cost me 22$$$$$$ it was a whole partly stripped coconut with awhole in it to stuff goodies ona chain.... these things cost me 6$ for 3 of them, AND I get to eat it too!!!! Can't beat that deal! I also bought a few cheap dish pans at the $ store, and have discovered it's a great way to feed fresh fruit, MO sits on the edge and tears it apart, MAYBE even eats a little bit, but most of the mess..Ok...Ok.. about 2/3rds of the mess are kept in the bin!!!!! this was GREAT for a big slice of canteloupe this morning! Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The coconuts is an awesome idea!! Oliver (parrotlet) loves toilet paper rolls that I stick paper in. Neko likes foraging toys and shredding toys. I LOVE that coconut idea, I have to try it!!

Ha Ha, I would try it too, coconuts are plentiful here, but the last time I put 1/2 coconut shell in Jasper's cage he freaked out and did everything he could to avoid going near it for 3 days. I finally removed it...for some reason it terrified him. He could care less about the cat though...go figure.
