Yes, Ziggy is enjoying himself. I love it already because its on wheels so I can bring it into the kitchen when I am cutting fruit and veggies. It used to be a struggle to keep Ziggy away from the counter when I had the knives out. He just wanted those grapes so bad LOL

very nice. I would love to make one of these... my dad is a plumber, haha maybe he would already have some of that PVC stuff floating around his shop... looks complicated though!

Love love looove your design.
Questions! How did you secure the eyelets you've screwed in to hang the toys on? How did you attach the feeder cups to it? I must knoooooow! I love playing with PVC. Just takes you back to legos and tinker toys. |

The dishes were trial and error. We finally found a design that worked and could be taken off easily. The dishes themselves are large pvc caps, 4" I believe. After sanding the bottom of the dish, I cut a small piece of regular pvc and glued it to the bottom of the dish in the center. I took care that the bead of glue was only on the inside of the pvc where the fids could not get to it. Once the dish is in the holder they cant get to the bottom of it anyway. To fasten the dishes to the gym simply place an elbow joint (90 degree) at the end of a perch so the empty socket faces up. The small pvc piece on the bottom of the dish sits right in the joint. I can take a picture of it if you wish, its really simple to do but a little hard to explain. I am glad everyone likes the gym |
